Icahn submits winning bid of $156.6M for Fontainebleau

Icahn Enterprises LP, a subsidiary of billionaire Carl Icahn's company, emerged as the winning bidder for the bankrupt Fontainebleau casino after two competing bids were disqualified. The $156.6 million bid was enough to buy the 27-acre unfinished property on the Las Vegas Strip without the need for an auction. When or if construction will resume is not known: "Right now, we're studying what we should do with it," Icahn said.
