No quick rebound for power-equipment makers

Standard & Poor's warned that sales for late-cycle companies, such as power-generation equipment providers, could continue to decline into the second half of 2010. Despite cost-cutting, production won't be able to increase manufacturers' margins to pre-recession levels. Economist Michael Englund expects an early rebound in overall U.S. inventory but says it won't extend much beyond March.
