NYTimes.com to establish user-fee system

Frequent readers of the New York Times' Web site will be asked to pay a monthly fee for unlimited access, beginning sometime in 2011. The company hasn't finalized details of the plan, but indicated that a certain number of stories would be available free of charge each month to users before the fee was charged.
