Judge reduces the number of patents disputed in Apple-Motorola case

A U.S. circuit judge has found that a trial is necessary to solve issues relating to five patents involved in a dispute between Apple and Motorola Mobility Holdings. He also invalidated two disputed patents and found that Apple was not in violation of one other patent. A jury trial on the matter is set for June 11.
