DIRECTV, DISH weigh in on "Raging Bull" copyright case

DISH Network, EchoStar and DIRECTV are among companies that have signed on to a brief in support of MGM's defense in a copyright-infringement case involving the film "Raging Bull." At issue is whether the plaintiff waited too long before pressing her copyright claims. The satellite providers, along with other parties, argue that the U.S. Court of Appeals decision could have adverse consequences for consumers, content providers and developers of new technology.
