A Heinen's Fine Foods store is part of a redevelopment project that includes a hotel, apartments, and private and government office space in downtown Cleveland. The chain's owners say that while they want the store to be profitable, putting it downtown is more about revitalizing the area. "If they come downtown and shop here, they'll say, 'That was fun,' and they'll want to do it again," Jeff Heinen said. "Maybe not every week. But once in a while -- to experience that energy, like in New York or Chicago."
