Kawasaki disease doesn't increase risk of later heart problems

A study of 546 children with Kawasaki disease and 2,218 children who did not have the disease showed those with the autoimmune disease did not have a greater risk of having a cardiovascular episode later in life. The findings were published in the journal Pediatrics.
