N.D. provider helps diabetes patients with telehealth service

Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby, N.D., is improving diabetes patients' access to care with the launch of a telemedicine program that allows its staff and patients to easily consult with specialists at the Altru diabetes center in Grand Forks, N.D. The program uses a computer system through which electronic stethoscopes and otoscopes can be connected with a USB cable to provide specialists with important data on patients' conditions.
