Report: N.D. oil production reached new high in November

North Dakota reached its highest oil output on record in November at 973,045 barrels of oil per day, according to the state Department of Mineral Resources' monthly report. Ninety-three percent of the state's production came from the Bakken and Three Forks shale plays, the agency said. The state also exceeded 10,000 producing wells and produced 1,086 million cubic feet of shale natural gas per day, the report said.
