Sept. incident raises concerns about security in Canada

Authorities in Canada are still looking into a Sept. 20 incident in which a man boarded his flight with a known pipe bomb in a camera bag. Mathieu Larocque, a spokesperson for the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, said the security screeners did not follow the rules. "When you see something that is potentially illegal or criminal or suspicious, or if you're not sure, the screening officer has to immediately advise police ... that did not happen," he said.
