This New York Times article claims dermatologists, urologists, oncologists and other specialists have seen rapidly rising incomes over the past two decades, often enhanced by investments in devices and treatment centers. Reports that Mohs surgery is overused are erroneous, dermatologists say, because the technique excises less tissue, reduces scarring and allows dermatologists to ensure lesions are entirely removed.
