Diabetes study reveals few heed health warnings

A new study shows that, despite public warnings, more than half of the people in the U.S. with diabetes suffer from obesity -- and an even larger percentage have higher-than-normal blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The findings indicate health care providers need to do more to boost awareness of the risk for complications these problems can cause.
