Philadelphia Convention Center expansion still on city, state agenda

City and state lawmakers continue to mull over a plan to expand Philadelphia's Convention Center, but some fear the $600 million cost -- estimated five years ago -- is likely much higher now. The plan to add 260,000 square feet to the existing center would allow the city to hold two major conventions at once and fill twice as many hotel rooms.
