Report: More work needed before shuttle can fly

An interim report from a NASA-appointed independent task force studying the agency's shuttle program said all recommendations made by the Columbia Accident Investigation Board were being addressed. However, the task force also said compliance was uneven and much needed to be done before the shuttle could fly again.
