Nationwide decides it's Hammer time

Onetime rap idol M.C. Hammer is making his has-been status work for him in a regional campaign for Nationwide Insurance produced by Dallas, Texas-based TM Advertising to be broadcast during the Super Bowl. The Hammer spot, part of the insurer's $42 million campaign featuring the slogan, "Life comes at you fast," is a cautionary tale in which the former star sings his hit "Can't Touch This," while his furniture is being repossessed.
