Families struggle to pay for pricey autism treatments

Intensive autism therapy can work, experts say, but can cost up to $30,000 annually and is not covered by most insurance plans. While families raise money and wait for those who specialize in the methods, Washington state's autism task force is recommending insurance companies be required to pay for such treatments.
