Japan looks to sea for wind energy

Japan is planning to establish a network of wind farms offshore in a major effort to get more of its power from clean sources. "It's worthwhile entering the sector now as offshore technology is at the cutting edge," said Mitsutoshi Yamashita, a government official responsible for promoting wind energy. "Once we obtain the technology needed, the kilowatts are limitless."
