Opinion: Florida lawmakers should abolish Citizens

Meanwhile, many private insurers have left the state or reduced their exposure to its risks, he notes. Lehrer writes that lawmakers should consider proposals to abolish state-run Citizens Property Insurance and privatize the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund.
