Support builds for accessible trauma care in Ky.

In Kentucky, where 28% of all residents live more than an hour away from a verified trauma care facility, citizens and lawmakers are leading an effort to establish a statewide trauma system that would educate clinicians to better assess and route trauma patients. The systems would include a data registry overseen by the state's Department for Public Health.
