Survey: Family practices need to improve EHR use

Family practices need to do a better job at implementing EHRs, a survey from the Association of Departments of Family Medicine says. The findings show 72% of respondents have implemented an EHR and 18% have implementation planned, but 64% say the systems have been in use for five years or less and are used only as basic tools.
