DTV-delay bills get delayed on Capitol Hill

Legislation that would delay the DTV-transition date to June 12 appears to have hit a snag. In the House, the Energy and Commerce Committee on Wednesday canceled a meeting on its version of the measure; a similar measure in the Senate appears to have been hindered by Republican opposition as well as the unrelated but time-consuming confirmation hearings on Secretary of State nominee Hillary Clinton.
