Combo therapy effective in colorectal cancer therapy, study shows

A study showed that cancer drug Xeloda combined with Xelox proved more effective than the combination of chemotherapy drugs 5-fluorouracil and leucovorin in improving disease-free survival among elderly patients with colorectal cancer. Xeloda is approved as a monotherapy for those with early-stage colon cancer.
