Conservationist group seeks closure of all U.S. bat caves

The Center for Biological Diversity urged the U.S. Department of the Interior to close all bat caves and mines located on federal lands as more bats die from white-nose syndrome. The center also is seeking endangered species protection for the northern long-eared bat and the eastern small-footed bat.
