N.J. senator seeks to tighten airport security

Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., is pushing legislation that he hopes will prevent a repeat of the Jan. 3 security breach that allowed a man to bypass security and enter a secured area of Newark International Airport. The proposal would add security cameras, authorize a $10,000 penalty for intentionally bypassing security and require the Transportation Security Administration to review its procedures.
