Bills proposed to help improve business at Indiana riverboat casinos

Indiana state Sens. Phil Boots and Ed Charbonneau have introduced bills that would permit the state's riverboat casinos to move operations on land, cut their taxes and relax a ban on some table games. "It's going to be a hit to the state revenue, but if it makes them more competitive and we get more participation in the state, then it should offset," Boots said.
