Dietitians have expanding job opportunities, RD says

Jobs for registered dietitians are expanding to include positions in hospitals and school systems, public policy and media communications, says RD Dee Sandquist, a spokeswoman for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She notes that many states do not license people working under the label "nutritionist," but RDs must have a bachelor's degree, pass a national exam and complete continuing-education requirements to remain certified.
