Southern California is an attractive market for several reasons, with a number of franchise brands such as Dunkin' Donuts, Right At Home, Children's LightHouse, Instant Imprints and Sloan's Ice Cream are interested in moving into the area. "California is a priority for us. We're a destination and experience, and you have a lot of fantastic lifestyle centers in California," said Sloan Kamenstein, the brand's founder. Franchises began to emerge from the recession last year and are expected to strengthen further in 2013, according to a study prepared for IFA.
