Manufacturers share concerns about EPA policies

Manufacturers are concerned this year with the Environmental Protection Agency's approach to numerous regulatory issues, according to this analysis, including EPA's stances on energy-efficiency requirements for buildings and the Toxic Substances Control Act. "I don't see industry stopping EPA efforts through legal proceedings, and I don't see legal proceedings stopping the EPA from pursuing its agenda," said Rae Ann Johnson of the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation.
