Myanmar is looking to increase its mobile penetration from the current total of less than 10% to 80% three years from now and has opened up bidding for two phone licenses. The pace of progress, however, and the relative expense of mobile in the country are still a source of displeasure for many residents. Myanmar's "people are frustrated. There is lots of speculation and this creates anxiety," said Ravi Chhabra, a local technology entrepreneur.
