Time Warner Cable says it won't accept some ads showing guns:

Time Warner Cable has said that it will "no longer accept ads showing semiautomatic weapons and guns pointed at people," according to a statement. "... If it's essential to a business owner to show this kind of imagery in their commercials, there are other advertising options in the marketplace." The policy comes in the wake of the Sandy Hook school massacre in Newtown, Conn., and the airing of a controversial National Rifle Association ad.
