TSA comments on airport security data

The Transportation Security Administration has commented on its airport security data after an inquiry from The Salt Lake Tribune. "TSA continues to be responsive to the threats that it knows are out there," said TSA spokeswoman Lorie Dankers. In 2008, the agency stopped counting some banned items because it became too "labor intensive."
