U.S. and Japan examine Dreamliner batteries

On Monday, U.S. and Japanese inspectors visited the headquarters of GS Yuasa Corp., which manufactures the lithium-ion batteries used on the Dreamliner 787. The company manufactures batteries used in motorbikes, equipment and power supplies. Aviation batteries account for around 1% of its business.
