N.J. teachers learn from their peers at Edcamp

A New Jersey school district held an Edcamp on Monday in which teachers shared tips with other educators. The Edcamp was held, officials said, to help and energize teachers under pressure from a host of initiatives and the Common Core State Standards. On Monday, 44 talks were offered, including one about new books for middle-school students, how to use Twitter to connect with other educators and Skype to connect students with long-distance peers.
