Indian biotechs urge changes in Biotechnology Strategy

India's biotech industry has submitted recommendations for changing some aspects of the government's draft policy for its planned Biotechnology Strategy. Represented by the industry's CII, biotechs expressed concern the policy does not create a task force for harmonizing Indian law with other nations, which the industry feels is necessary if the country is to have a world-class regulatory and patent process.
