CEO uses club on hesitant buyers

Gino Palumbo had a product the aerospace industry should have gone nuts for: a strong metal with a grain size 1,000 times smaller than normal. But the CEO of Toronto-based Integran Technologies found that people couldn't get their minds around the benefits of his nanotech material. So he produced something from it they could easily grasp: a golf club. The $125 Epic shaft was itself a market hit, and Palumbo says it also boosted sales in the company's aerospace and defense division.
