India on high alert after hijack warning

Indian officials put airports and airlines on high alert Friday after the federal home ministry said it had "reliable information of a planned plane hijack by terrorists." The warning triggered intense passenger screening at airports throughout the country as well as deployment of additional air marshals. Officials said the intelligence pointed to Air India or Indian Airlines as likely targets for the attack.
