Obama considers putting space shuttle development into private hands

President Barack Obama is considering whether to outsource the job of transporting astronauts into space, even as NASA works at building a new rocket and space capsule to replace older space shuttles. A White House panel has argued that private spaceships may cost less and be ready sooner than a government spaceship.
