Missouri students learn about fitness, nutrition

Students in some Missouri schools are learning about fitness and nutrition through the Family Nutrition Education Programs offered by the University of Missouri Extension. Nutrition educators cover topics such as essential nutrients, food labels and the food pyramid, as well as the influence of family, friends and the media on eating habits.
