Cyberinsurance needs depend on potential exposure, expert says

An organization should weigh its risk exposure when determining the type of cyberinsurance policy it should buy, experts say. "To the extent that an entity has a large number of personally identifiable information records, then there's a much bigger chance of exposure," said Kevin Kalinich of Aon Risk Solutions. Cyberinsurance is still evolving and is offered by about 40 insurers, says David Bradford of RIMS.
