NYC's $1B project to fix leaks at Delaware Aqueduct tunnel

A $1 billion repair project to fix leaks in New York's Delaware Aqueduct is scheduled to start soon. The Rondout-West Branch Bypass Tunnel leaks as much as 35 million gallons a day. A $101.6 million bypass tunnel will be built to carry the water while the leaky tunnel is being fixed.
