State Department identifies Americans killed at Algerian gas plant

The State Department has confirmed that three Americans died and seven escaped in last week's hostage crisis at a natural-gas facility in Algeria. "I'm glad we were able to get some rescued, but we did lose three Americans. That just tells us that al-Qaida is committed to creating terror wherever they are and we've got to fight back," Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said.
