Verallia's lighter bottle contributes to greening of French wine

French vintners are making efforts to reduce their environmental footprints through several innovations, including Verallia's Ecova bottles, which use up to 96% recycled glass and are up to 70g lighter than the company's original line of bottles. Verallia introduced the Ecova line four years ago, and it now accounts for half the company’s 300-million-bottle Bordeaux market.
