Medical-tourism destinations in vogue

Thanks in part to the popularity of the movie "Sicko," which showcased some nations' affordable health care systems, and the Internet, visitors are flocking to places such as Cuba, Portugal and Spain to get medical treatment. Costa Rica for example has been a popular hot spot for cosmetic surgeries since the 1980s, but its growing reputation as a medical-tourism destination is spurring more visitors, according to one author who's written a book on the trend.
