Domino's campaign heats up

Domino's Pizza recently received a cease-and-desist letter from rival Subway, demanding that the pizza chain end comparative advertising based on results of a taste test commissioned by Domino's. Ads by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Miami, show consumers preferring the pizza chain's oven-baked sandwiches to Subway sandwiches. In an ad on Wednesday's episode of "American Idol," Domino's President David Brandon thumbed his nose at the rival chain by setting the C-and-D letter on fire.
