Obama's stimulus plan would boost tech companies large and small

As part of President Barack Obama's $825 billion economic-stimulus package, broadband technology will receive $6 billion and the smart grid will receive $32 million. Companies across the technology spectrum are gearing up to benefit from the federal funding. Wireless startups such as Broadcom and Atheros join blue-chip companies such as General Electric and IBM in planning to capitalize on the billions in stimulus spending.
