Senate expected to pass DTV delay

The Senate next week is likely to pass a measure postponing the country's transition to all-digital TV signals from Feb. 17 to June 12. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, introduced revisions to allow stations that want to go ahead with the Feb. 17 transition to do so. She said that the June 12 date would be "an option, not a mandate."
