Children use less suncreen as they get older

Only 25% of 360 fifth-graders in Massachusetts continued to use sunscreen regularly as eighth-graders, according to a study in the journal Pediatrics. Researchers found that 53% of these teens had experienced at least one sunburn by the age of 11. They added that the number of teens who said they liked tans grew, and both girls and boys reported spending more time in the sun to get a tan.
