IBM is expanding model to prepare more students for tech careers

IBM is aiming to prepare more students for careers in the technology industry through its Pathways in Technology Early College High School -- or P-Tech -- in Brooklyn, N.Y. The company partnered with the New York City Department of Education and the City University of New York to create the school, which offers students an associate degree in applied science and job opportunities at IBM along with their high-school diploma, and is now expanding to create three similar programs in New York City and five in Chicago.
