Michigan aims to improve nutrition for infants, toddlers

Michigan has partnered with Gerber Products, the Michigan Grocers Association and the Michigan Health and Hospital Association in the Pure Michigan FIT program that focuses on improving infant and toddler nutrition. The program will encourage longer breast-feeding and delayed introduction of solid foods, consumption of less fruit juice and eliminating foods with saturated fats.
