Target strikes back against mobile-driven "showrooming"

After an anemic Christmas-sales season, Target has written its suppliers a plea to help them nip "showrooming" in the bud. Target wants to curb the practice of using mobile devices in store to compare prices online by developing special packages that don't compare identically to those found online.
